This is my first finished game. It's a portal defense game with scaling difficulty where you play as a mech killing orks. The song is called "We Groove" by David Renda.
The enemies were made in MakeHuman. Other than that i made everything myself using Blender and Unity.
I think the youtube video below illustrates very well what was done well in the project and what was not.
I think most people have heard of the game Darkest Dungeon and it's sometimes grueling difficulty. This is a helper app I developed in Unreal Engine 4 as a side project primarily for personal use. This app aims to help the player be prepared for every situation and avoid easy mistakes.
The famous quote "Given the opportunity, players will optimize the fun out of a game." comes to mind. And as a gamer turned game developer of course I did just that. But I learned a lot and got a lot more confident with both UI configuration and blueprint programming.
I made a desktop and an android version although I must admit a lot more effort and time was spent developing and troubleshooting the android version then the pc.
The art was made by my very talented friend Malin Hallgren.
While working as an intern at Lutra Interactive I worked on the game Ruby and The Recyclers. I worked a bit on the game's mission system and a few visual effects but mainly on the game's crafting system.
As the game is not yet released I can't share more publicly but I can share a video of the crafting system and more details via e-mail.
